  • Tibetan antelope, Pantholops hodgsonii, Tibetan plateau, Qinghai, China. Male, grazing in the setting sun. A few yerars ago these animals were extremely shy, because they had been shot at for decades, decimating the population. Since the nation-wide hunting ban was instated in 2009, virtually all wildlife species are coming back in China, and many are now slowly becoming less shy.
