An injured muntjac (cause unknown), Muntiacus reevesi, swims in a small creek after unsuccessfully attempting to jump across it. This muntjac was unable to get out of the creek himself, and was later rescued by the photographer. Tangjiahe Nature Reserve, Sichuan province, China.
