Pineapple sea cucumber, Thelenota ananas, also known as tripang, prickly skin cucumber, pointed teat sea cucumber, armoured sea cucumber, giant sea cucumber, sand fish or prickly redfish. It is a huge sea cucumber reaching 70 cm in length, with a weight of between 3 kg to 6 kg. IUCN Red List of Threatened Species: EndangereGreen Island, Taiwan.

The island is a small volcanic island in the Pacific Ocean famous for clear water, coral reefs and marine life in abundance.
