Release of 30 captive-bred Crested ibis, Nipponia nippon, to celebrate the national Bird Love Week at the Tongchuan Crested Ibis Breeding Centre, Shaanxi, China. The species was once only found in 6 individuals in one place in China, in the whole world. Now it is back, with several thousand individuals and brought back from the verge of extinction.
