Hummingbird bobtail squid, Euprymna berryi (2 cm), Kenting Nationalpark, Taiwan.
The hummingbird bobtail squid move in a spectacular and drone-like manner using either their Dumbo-like fins attached to the head or a jet engine in reversed gear. This magician can also glow with a specialised light organ that is inhabited by a bioluminescent bacteria. The "blue glow" counter-illumination hides the squid’s silhouette by helping it blend in with its surroundings.

On the southern tip of Taiwan with the Pacific Ocean all around the tip with clear water, coral reefs and abundant marine life in.
