Wild Wonders of China's first Pioneer photo mission went to the Tangjiahe National Nature Reserve, in Qingchuan county, Sichuan province. It is one of China's finest nature reserves, protected since 1978. It covers 400 sq kms and is a rewilding area, where nature and wildlife is now coming back very strongly. It is a centre for endemic species, both among birds, fish, insects and trees.
