Hong Kong - Reptiles & amphibians 55 images Created 4 Jul 2017

Wild Wonders of China's photographers went looking for the 94 different reptile species, 16 turtle species, 23 lizards and 55 snake species. Hong Kong is a place full of reptiles and amphibians of many different kinds. Three of the reptiles here are endemic.

Year 2000 an unidentified small frog species was first encountered in Hong Kong and it was identified as Eleutherodactylus planirostris using DNA barcoding.
